Lotus Cup UK

The Lotus Cup UK championship started in 2011 and with an average of 40 starters amongst the 8 rounds and new enquiries from entrants coming in on a weekly basis, the series was split into Production and SuperSport championships for its second season. Production caters for cars eligible for the Elise Trophy, which continues to run alongside Lotus Cup UK. Normally-aspirated Elises and Exiges will compete in this class.

Lotus Cup UK Supersport is for the Exige Cup, 2-Eleven, Open and V6 classes, the latter incorporating the Evora and new  Exige V6, and is expected to be as competitive as ever. The races will once again follow a mini-endurance format, with most races an hour in duration, complete with a mandatory pitstop allowing refuelling and driver changes.

The championships will run alongside the Elise Trophy for all rounds except the overseas event at Spa-Francorchamps. With common technical regulations, Lotus Cup UK Production runners can continue to compete in both series.

Lotus Cup UK is aimed at drivers who want all the benefits of a Championship, and with visits to circuits such as Brands Hatch GP, Silverstone GP and Snetterton 300, there really is no better Championship in which to race your Lotus in the UK.
