Lotus on Track Elise Trophy
The Lotus on Track Elise Trophy was the first series to be launched in conjunction with MotorSport Vision Racing, and its inaugural race took place at Brands Hatch on Saturday 24th March 2007.
Commencing its third season in 2009, the Elise Trophy has been declared a huge success, with full grids at every race meeting in 2008. With two Class A (Standard) and Classes B & C (Modified) races per event the racing is close and frenetic.
In 2009 the LoTRDC will organise the new Lotus Cup Europe Race Series. Lotus Cup Europe, now in its fifth season, will follow a new format under the control LoTRDC with a six round, twelve race calendar for the 2009 season. For more information please click here.
The Elise Trophy has grown from Lotus on Track, the UK's largest track day club. The Lotus on Track Racing Drivers Club was formed to create a race series for Lotus Elise owners, and aims to carry the track day principles to the starting grid.
The Elise Trophy provides a safe, friendly and financially viable series for those wishing to progress from track days into racing. The series is open by invitation to like-minded owners and receives huge support and enthusiasm from the Lotus community and plenty of action at circuits across the UK.
