Lotus on Track Elise Trophy
The Lotus on Track Elise Trophy was the first series to be launched in conjunction with MotorSport Vision Racing, and its inaugural race took place at Brands Hatch on Saturday 24th March 2007.
The Elise Trophy has grown from Lotus on Track, the UK's largest track day club. The Lotus on Track Racing Drivers Club (LoTRDC) was formed to create a race series for Lotus Elise owners, and aims to carry the track day principles to the starting grid.
The Elise Trophy provides a safe, friendly and financially viable series for those wishing to progress from track days into racing. The series is open by invitation to like-minded owners and receives huge support and enthusiasm from the Lotus community and plenty of action at circuits across the UK.
In October 2008 Lotus Cars announced that LoTRDC would take over the organisation of Lotus Cup Europe, the factory owned and supported series for Lotus drivers. For more information on the series click here.
2010 will be another exciting year for the series with highlights including supporting FIA Formula Two, WTCC, DTM, a visit to Spa and headlining the established Snetterton Lotus Festival in June. The season will come to a close at the Brands Hatch Lotus 1000KM race in November.
