The A1GP World Cup of Motorsport is having its final rounds of the season at Brands Hatch on 2/3/4 May 2008. Organised by MSVR, the race meeting will be taking place on the world-famous Grand Prix circuit.
This will be the third time that A1GP has visited Brands Hatch. In 2005, the circuit played host to the inaugral rounds of the series in what was a memorable debut. A1 Team Brazil won both races at the first ever event which included a spectacular car flip at Paddock Hill Bend by A1 Team Lebanon.
However, last year's event may be more noteworthy to most as A1 Team GBR driver Robbie Kerr became the first driver to win a race on home soil.
Supporting A1GP will be Formula Palmer Audi in what will be their first visit to Brands Hatch in 2008. All eyes will be on the young drivers to see how they perform on the big stage.
The MSVR Lotus on Track Elise Trophy will have two twenty minute races with the usual capacity grids. If the last rounds at Donington are anything to go by the racing is sure to be as close and exciting as ever.
Also on the supporting line up are Heritage Grand Touring Cars, Porsche Open, British Formula Ford, Britcar and Sports 2000.
22 nations will compete for the World Cup of Motorsport at Brands Hatch. Fans will be out in force for the fastest races of the year, so make sure you're there to support your home nation!
