Lotus unveil new pace car for 2008


The MSVR Lotus on Track Elise Trophy have today unveiled their brand new Pace Car for the forthcoming 2008 season.

The Lotus Europa 'S' will be supporting all of the Elise Trophy rounds, including the A1GP event at Brands Hatch 3/4 May and Spa-Francorchamps 31 May / 1 June.

Supplied by Lipscomb Lotus in Aylesford, Kent, the car is a top of the range model with the following specification:

  • 2008 Lotus Europa S
  • 200ps (227ps upgrade available)
  • 0-60 in 5.5sec (4.9sec with 227ps)
  • Luxury Touring Pack (black & saddle tan interior)
  • Twin Airbags
  • Sat-Nav
  • A/C
  • 995kgs

Paul Golding from the Lotus on Track Racing Drivers Club (LoTRDC) is thrilled with the new addition to the series. The Lotus Europa 'S' Pace Car will make its debut at the first round of the Elise Trophy at the Brands Hatch Lotus Celebration on 23/24 March.
