The GT Cup's official launch event will be taking place at the Haynes International Motor Museum on Sunday 27th January. All registered entrants are invited to the event where a roast lunch will be served in a private function suite.

A presentation of the 2008 season will also be given and guests will have a chance to view the museum. Tickets for non-registered competitors will be available at £25 per person.

MSVR Race Operations Manager, David Scott, and MSVR Competition Secretary, David Willey, will be attending.

Following the successful inaugural GT Cup races at Snetterton last year the series has a bright future with great interest coming from competitors all over the UK. Series founder Marc Haynes is confident of healthy grids in 2008: "the number of registrations I will accept will be strictly limited and are filling up fast".
